Open day & evening for year 4,5 and 6 pupils

7th July 2017

QEA prospectus 2018-2019This week we have successfully welcomed our incoming year 7 students into the academy community, and we’re always delighted to see new faces as they continue their education with us. With this in mind, we can now exclusively announce details of opportunities for parents and families of year 4, 5 and 6 students to come and look around Queen Elizabeth Academy.

We are offering daytime tours of the academy with our ‘Academy in Action’ day on Tuesday 19th September 2017 for parents and families. During the day we will be conducting student-led tours of the academy facilities which will be followed by a Q&A session with members of our senior leadership team. This will give parents and families the chance to ask the questions which are important to them about the academy curriculum, teaching methods, enrichment opportunities, progress and development, plus anything else that matters to them. Pre-registration for this day is now open, with three times slots available. To register, simply visit http://bit.ly/2tPKTQG and book your tickets.

If you are unable to visit us on the Academy in Action day or wish to bring your son/daughter with you, then the Open Evening on Thursday 21st September 2017 gives you another chance to visit and find out more. On the evening there will again be student-led tours, a presentation by our academy director, and opportunities for students to try out some ‘taster activities’. These activities are designed to give students a flavour of how we learn at the academy, together with interacting with staff that will hopefully be part of their ongoing progress and development. There will also be activities that are on offer through our extensive enrichment programme.

To pre-register for the open evening, visit http://bit.ly/2toyx0M and select how many spaces you would like to book.

If you have questions about either event, please call our reception on 01623 623559 to find out more.
