Becoming a governor at QEA

Are you interested in supporting the development of our academy? We are currently looking for people interested in becoming a governor at Queen Elizabeth’s Academy. Being an academy governor is a hugely rewarding form of voluntary work. It offers the opportunity to make a real contribution to the education of our younger generation right at the cutting edge.

In return for the commitment that all our governors make, you will make a real difference for our children by contributing to the success of the academy and its students and contributing to your local community. We also support all governors with access to ongoing training, resources and personal development. It is a great opportunity to gain expertise in new areas that you can transfer to your own professional life, together with gaining a better understanding of the education system.

If you are interested, please visit https://www.queenelizabeths-ac.org.uk/governance for more information. Alternatively, contact our clerk to the governors, Mrs Paine, via epaine@dalp.org.uk to discuss the process of becoming a governor at our academy.
