Governor name

Johanna Langheld

Governor role

Diocesan Academy Committee governor

Why did you become a governor?

I am a member of St Giles West Bridgford and serve on the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham’s Board of Education.

How did you find out about the role?

Through the Diocese.

What do you like about the role, and how do governors make a difference?

I represent the board on the Academy Committee particular supporting and encouraging the school’s distinctively Christian ethos. With a professional civil service and local authority background and 20+ years as a school governor, I hope to bring varied experience to the committee at QEA. In my spare time I enjoy baking, drama and long-distance walking.
