Careers resources

There is a lot of careers information out there, and it can be hard to know what to focus on. We’ve pulled together some of the best resources to help support you going forward in your career choices.

West Notts College careers information

These resources have been created by West Notts college in partnership with DANCOP, to help support you going forward in your career choices. There is a document of sessions broken down into year groups, but you can access other sessions if relevant. We would strongly advise our year 11s to look at both the year 11 and year 12 resources.

Oak National Academy careers week

June is traditionally the month when year 10 pupils would take part in work experience. As this cannot take place this year, Oak National Academy have put together My Week of Work, aimed at year 9 and 10 students.

This programme of activities is taking place between 8 and 12 June 2020, with a timetable of 20 lessons available each day, and activities to complete. The lessons will continue to be available on the Oak National Academy website on demand after this week for continued careers information.

Learn Live will also be running live broadcasts with employers. See page 29 of the careers week guide below for more information on these broadcasts.
