Today at QEA, we were honoured to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day with a poignant ceremony.
A group of our students, proudly wearing their respective uniforms, stood with dignity as they listened to readings and observed an impeccable two-minute silence while the Union Flag was raised.
It is always a privilege to come together as a school community to recognise the courage, sacrifice, and service of our armed forces – past and present. Our students showed the utmost respect as we reflected on the importance of this historic day.
A special thank you to Mr Ackroyd for providing such poignant and thoughtful music to accompany the ceremony.
