Today at QEA, we came together to commemorate Remembrance Day.

Although the weather prevented us from gathering outside as a whole school as we usually do, it did not lessen the impact or meaning of our service.

Year 7 gathered in the historic QEA Main Hall, joined by a number of special dignitaries and guests, while students and staff from other year groups joined via Teams to be welcomed by Ms Percival.

The service included thoughtful readings from students, prayers led by Mrs Smart and Mrs Williams, and moving musical contributions from Mr Ackroyd and Mrs Taylor, before a perfectly observed two-minute silence.

We would like to thank all of our students, staff and guests for their respect, reflection and contribution to this important occasion of remembrance.
