Everyone at Queen Elizabeth’s Academy sends their best wishes to former student Ross Lamb as he takes part in the Tour of Britain with his team Ribble Weldtite Pro Cycling.
Mr Sisson, who taught PE during Ross’ time here, says “I remember Ross being multi-talented across many sports. He still holds the year 9 record in the 800m and he represented the Academy in athletics and cross country, qualifying for district and county competitions along the way. He was very humble, took advice on board and would help others. He was bright and hard working, an all-round perfect role model.”
We are all proud of you, Ross. You are proof that hard work and dedication pays off. Good luck for the finish when we welcome you home to Mansfield for stage five of the event.
