Thank you to all families who joined us last night for our open evening.
What a fantastic night we had showcasing science experiments, drama performances, hands-on food technology creations, tie-dye textiles and engineering designs, to providing information on all departments such as maths, English, humanities, social sciences and beyond.
We must give huge thanks to our wonderful student ambassadors for giving tours, talking to families, helping departments throughout the academy, and generally being absolutely fantastic – well done to you all!
Thank you also to so many families for taking the time to give us feedback on the evening. We were blown away by it all, and this quote from one family summed it up perfectly:
“All the staff and children that helped were fantastic, engaging, helpful, informative, and showed what a great school it is, please pass on my praise to all. My children didn’t want to leave!”
It was a pleasure to show off our stunning school site and welcome so many families to QEA.
