Today we bid a fond farewell to our incredible year 11 students.

These wonderful students joined QEA in September 2019 as fresh faced year 7 students ready to begin their secondary school journey. Their first year was interrupted by lockdown and remote learning, and before they knew it their first year was over. Now they find themselves successfully completing year 11, having finished their final exams and preparing for their futures. They are a credit to their families and everyone at QEA. A true testament to hard work, resilience and staying strong through tough times.

Time has simply flown – the time has come for you to spread your wings and make your futures everything you want them to be!

Shirts have been signed, prom invitations handed out, memories shared, prize draws taken place (including an iPad to one lucky winner!), goodbye and good luck videos watched, followed by one last walk down the stunning QEA grounds and driveway. Students also received a heartfelt message from Mrs Wilmott, who was principal when these students first began their QEA journey.

Year 11, you did it! You have been amazing. We wish you nothing but the best for your futures, wherever they may take you.

We look forward to seeing you in your prom finest outfits, followed of course by GCSE results day.
