Back in January we shared the exciting news about our new garden space, made possible by the generous support of the Severn Trent Community Fund.
This summer, we were delighted to officially launch the garden with a wonderful event in July. Our students, staff, and visitors enjoyed an afternoon of garden games, high-tea style refreshments, and celebrations with Severn Trent as we opened up this new space for our academy community.
As we finished for the summer holidays, the students planted up some pond plants before getting stuck into the harvest. They left with bags full of peas, carrots, salad, chard and herbs – a brilliant way to round off the term!
The garden is now officially closed for the holidays, and planning for September starts in earnest. We can’t wait to see how this space continues to flourish in the new school year.
