Our talented young engineers have been getting hands-on with the metal lathe, learning how to safely and skillfully machine their very own pencils out of aluminium.
Students explored a range of techniques including:
- Facing off
- Parallel turning
- Drilling
- Knurling
This was a fantastic opportunity to develop precision, patience and real-world engineering skills.
