Would you like to make a difference in your community? Volunteer as a governor
We are looking for people with new ideas and a fresh perspective to join our committed and friendly local academy committee.
Our governors are valued members of our team both at Queen Elizabeth’s Academy and as a part of Diverse Academies Trust.
You don’t need to have been a governor before or come from an education background. You’ll be joining a supportive and welcoming team, with training provided.
What does a governor do in a multi-academy trust?
Governors actively make a difference in our local communities by contributing to the success of our academies and the lives of the students we serve. Their role is vital to holding senior leaders to account for standards, SEND, safeguarding and connecting with and listening to a wide range of stakeholders.
Want to find out more before you apply? We’d love to hear from you.
