October is Black History Month – an opportunity to celebrate the achievements, culture and history of the Black community.
At Queen Elizabeth’s Academy, just one of the ways we are marking Black History Month is by displaying a variety of influential black figures on our classroom doors. These influential people range from past to present, but each has played an important role in history.
We hope to spark positive dialogue amongst our students, inspire the next generation, as well as continue our work on diversity.
