Since students have returned to our academies, it has been great to see them back in the classrooms and our creative studios and working hard. Just before the Easter break our BTEC drama students were in the studio performing for assessments in two of their qualification components – they were acting out extracts from the always brilliant ‘Blood Brothers’ and did brilliantly.
After Easter they will be working on a whole class performance of the darkly comedic play ‘DNA’ by Dennis Kelly, and hopefully will be able to perform this for an audience (virtually or socially distanced!) – keep your eyes peeled here for information once we have it.
Well done to our students – some fabulous creative performance skills on show. We’re looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.
