We were delighted before the half-term break to welcome a number of year 5 pupils from Farmilo Primary School. They joined us here at the academy to take part in master classes in cooking, art, and music.
During their cooking session with Mrs Bland, they looked at ‘home grown’ foods and how to make these into healthy flat breads. In music they took part in a fabulous Samba workshop with Mr Williams, and they also tried their hand at an art class with Miss Burford.
The feedback from the children has been really positive, with them all enjoying the time they spent with us – they were a pleasure to have at the academy, and Farmilio should be very proud of them all.
