Last week, we were delighted to welcome Kids Lingo to QEA for an exciting, hands-on languages experience for our talented year 7 students.

The session transformed QEA into a full French adventure. Students travelled through passport control, practised meeting and greeting in French, boarded their flight, listened carefully to the air stewards, and landed in Paris to explore French culture – all without leaving school.

Along the way, students:

  • Visited an ice cream parlour to read menus, place orders, and even work behind the counter
  • Shopped in a French supermarket using price lists and spoken French
  • Wrote postcards in French
  • Posed in the selfie booth with an Eiffel Tower backdrop
  • Voted on their favourite French foods before hopping back on the plane

There was some fantastic French speaking throughout the day, alongside a wonderfully fun and playful atmosphere.

A huge thank you to Kids Lingo for delivering such an engaging experience – you were amazing!

We are incredibly proud of our year 7 students for their enthusiasm, confidence, and willingness to get involved in such a memorable day.
