Earlier this week we were once again delighted to welcome Mark Lehain, education expert and director of Parents and Teachers for Excellence (PTE), to the academy. Mark had previously visited the academy to meet with Miss Brothwell to discuss our improvement journey and our move to a knowledge-based curriculum – something he is a real advocate of.

Mark’s visit once again proved to be a great success and learning opportunity for the academy – our link with PTE is very beneficial as we continually look to improve our curriculum and standards for the benefit of all Queen Elizabeth’s students.

As with the first visit, Mark has uploaded a review of the day on the PTE website, and we are delighted with how positively the academy is reflected. Once again, students and staff are praised for their hard work and attitude, together with acknowledging the support from our trust, Diverse Academies Learning Partnership.

Thank you once again to Mark – we look forward to the next visit.
