Before the Easter break, some of our year 7 and 8 students were privileged to receive a visit from Joe from Speakers Trust.
Joe worked with students to build their confidence with speaking publicly – such an important life skill.
It was a fantastic day and Joe was incredibly impressed by our students. Joe said “It was a rewarding experience to spend a day with two highly polite, motivated, and energetic groups of year 7 and 8 students at Queen Elizabeth’s Academy. Witnessing their raw enthusiasm and effective teamwork as they tackled activities in pairs and groups was truly delightful. Despite initial differences in confidence levels, each student demonstrated notable improvement in their communication skills throughout the day.”
