On 20 November 2019, the QEA school choir had the pleasure of working with Mark De Lisser at Kelham hall.

Students took part in a two-hour workshop learning two songs with students from five other schools in Nottinghamshire.

Mark De Lisser is one of the most sought after workshop leaders, arrangers and vocal coaches within the industry. Although some may know him for his work as a vocal coach on TV programmes such as “The Voice” and “Let it Shine” to name but a few, Mark is perhaps best known for his work with choirs. He is the proud musical director of the award winning ACM Gospel Choir whom he founded back in 2008, and is also the founder of Singology Community Choirs.

Students will soon be showcasing some of the material they learnt here in the academy!
