In the unfortunate absence of this year’s Boxing Day Brunch event, all staff at Queen Elizabeth’s felt it was important to continue to support those members of our local community who may need it during this Christmas period.
Staff at the academy have been bringing in food to donate to our collection, and money raised through academy fundraising has also been used to purchase further items. We are also thankful to our local Tesco store, who have provided us with a full trolley full of items to add to the collection.
Year 8 students Poppy, Abbie, Olivia and Brooklyn are proudly standing in front of the huge amount of items that have today been delivered to our local food bank. Thank you to everyone who contributed, to Tesco for their generosity, and to anyone who has supported our past fundraising efforts.
