The stunning QEA hall was filled with music and excitement today as The Mercians joined us for an incredible session thanks to The Prime Agency.
Year 9 students enjoyed fantastic performances of original songs as well as favourite cover songs – the energy in the hall was incredible!
The session was so much more than entertainment and music though, as the band spoke openly about their experiences with mental health, giving students advice and information on mental health, anxiety, asking others for help, as well as important information on social media use and misogyny.
The band were brilliant, the music had everyone dancing, and the real-life advice from inspirational people was simply wonderful. The band even took the time to chat with students after the session and signed so many autographs.
