#throwbackthursday at Queen Elizabeth’s Academy.

Much has changed since this cookery lesson in the 1930s, but at QEA we continue to equip students with the creative, technical and practical expertise needed to perform everyday tasks with confidence.

From year 7 basic food hygiene and safety, basic food preparation and cooking skills, we teach students the importance of sensible food choices, healthy eating, nutrition and general food knowledge.

By year 11 hospitality and catering, students will learn how to plan, prepare, and cook a variety of dishes, which is not only a valuable life skill but a solid foundation for employment in the hospitality and catering industry.
