#ThrowbackThursday at Queen Elizabeth’s Academy looks at textiles as part of design and technology.

Design and technology teaches students many useful transferable skills to use in future jobs, alongside valuable life skills such as learning to cook, sew, create, repair. Design and technology prepares students to live and work in the designed and made world.

In the most recent photograph, students are working together to learn to crochet, following one of the QEA core values – togetherness.
