This morning we greeted our new year 7 students as they arrived for their first day at Queen Elizabeth’s Academy.
Staff greeted our new starters, signposting them in the right direction and answering any questions they had as they embarked on this important first day at their new school.
Everyone looked so smart and headed to the stunning QEA main hall for a welcome assembly from Ms Percival. What a great first morning!
Letters for online payments (Squid) and our parent app (Reach More Parents) will be issued over the next few days. In the meantime, year 7 students will be able to access school meals or bring a packed lunch – whichever they prefer. Fingerprints will be taken for students to use when purchasing school meals and snacks.
We were also delighted to welcome back our year 11 students this morning.
Year 11 is such an important year of exam preparation and hard work, but also so many activities to enjoy, such as leavers events and the incredible QEA prom.
There is so much to look forward to for these wonderful students and we look forward to supporting them throughout their final year at QEA.
Here’s to a fantastic year of wonderful opportunities!
