Year 10 students enjoyed a wonderful day out on Friday to Cannock Chase and The Staffordshire Regiment Museum, in support of their GCSE study around medicine on the Western Front.

Students were taken on a guided tour of both Commonwealth and German Military cemeteries, where they laid a poppy wreath in remembrance of those who sacrificed their lives in war.

Students subsequently explored a large, reconstructed trench system, and saw equipment and weaponry used in the First World War.

This was such an incredible, poignant visit for our students, who represented QEA values throughout the day, displaying respect and togetherness.
