Governor name
Elaine Twigger
Governor role
Queen Elizabeth’s Endowed Trust Academy Committee governor
Why did you become a governor?
I have been associated with the school, since being a pupil at the Girls’ Grammar school in the 1960s and a governor here since the 1990s.
How did you find out about the role?
I heard of the vacancy through the Academy and Queen Elizabeth’s Endowed Trust.
What do you like about the role, and how do governors make a difference?
I consider it a privilege to serve the Academy and support it to enable every pupil to achieve their full potential.
