Why did you become a governor?
As an ex-teacher and current Vice Chair of governors at a local school, I understand the key role that governors play and was keen to be able to support the school through serving in this role.
How did you find out about the role?

What do you like about the role, and how do governors make a difference?
The role allows me to use my teaching experience and skills to support the school to continually improve and develop. The committee come from diverse backgrounds and can bring a fresh perspective and challenge to the school’s leaders.
