Why did you become a governor?
Having had 38 years in education culminating in being Principal of a large secondary school I felt I had a lot to offer another school in terms of knowledge, experience and skills.
How did you find out about the role?
I heard about the role through Governors for Schools.
What do you like about the role, and how do governors make a difference?
I value the opportunity to make a difference to school, staff, students and the local community in a positive way. The skills I developed during my time in education have provided me with a wide skill set to support the governing body.
