The results show a great improvement by Queen Elizabeth’s students – the overall figures also include results from 33 students who were only with us for a year following the closure of their school. For students who spent all of their five years at the academy prior to their GCSEs, results were up 19% on the 2016-2017 cohort.

Attendance and inclusion
During the past three years, the overall average attendance for students is as follows:
- 2017-2018 – 92.38%
- 2016-2017 – 90.2%
- 2015-2016 – 91.1%
We were delighted that due to managing behaviour at the academy there were zero permanent exclusions in 2017/18 – due to our inclusive practices and the very high standards of behaviour expected at Queen Elizabeth’s Academy, our fixed term exclusions are significantly below local and national averages.
